Abstract

IN WATER MANAGEMENT 24 - 26 November 1997 Pretoria, South Africa This workshop is being organised by: UNESCO's International Hydrological Programme (IHP) together with U the South African National Committee for IHP, U and the Water Research Commission. The main objectives of the workshop are: Oto develop strategies for improving women's participation in water management; Oto create conditions and regulations in favour of women empowerment in water resources development programmes; oto stimulate international and regional co-operation for the exchange of information and experiences.
