Abstract
Financing opportunities and models for water-linked research, development and innovation In 2015, the Department of Science and Technology (DST), the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) and the Water Research Commission (WRC) produced the National Water RDI Roadmap. The Roadmap presents a vision for South Africa to be a leading middle-income country in the development and deployment of water management practices and technologies. It seeks to ensure that South Africa competes with leading countries in providing sustainable water sector solutions.
