Abstract

Prof Bhekie Mamba: Dedicated to refining water treatment technologies that can save lives The Water Research Commission (WRC) has joined forces with the National Science and Technology Forum (NSTF) to recognise excellence, leadership and impact in the field of sustainable water management, knowledge generation and solutions. To celebrate the excellent work being done in water research and innovation in South Africa, the inaugural NSTF-WRC Award 2016/17 was bestowed upon Prof Bhekie Mamba, the Executive Dean of the College of Science, Engineering and Technology and at the University of South Africa (UNISA).
